Mila Kunis & Ashton Kutcher Give A $3 Million Dollar Helping Hand To The People Of Ukraine

Mila Kunis is a very proud Ukrainian and the actress and her husband, Ashton Kutcher, are helping Ukraine in the best way possible.


The actress is from Chernivsti, Ukraine which is a western city of the country known for the Chernivsti National University.


Mila and Ashton took to Instagram to let their followers know they stand with Ukraine. In a video she said, “I was born in Cherivsti in 1983 and I came to America in 1991. I have always considered myself and American, a proud American. I love everything this country’s done for myself and my family, but today I’ve never been more proud to be a Ukrainian.”


Ashton chimed in saying, “I’ve never been more proud to be married to a Ukrainian.”


 
 

Mila continued, “The events that have unfolded in Ukraine are devastating. There is no place in this world for this unjust attack on humanity.”

Ashton took over and said, “And while we witness the bravery of the people of the country she was born in, we are also witness to the needs of those who have chosen safety. We are raising funds to support a relief effort that will have an immediate impact and supply much needed refugee and humanitarian to the area.”


Ashton continued to explain how housing and supplies are scarce.


“We need to get housing and we need to get supplies and resources into the area,” he said.


 
 

Mila followed up by saying, “So, Ashton and I have decided to match up to $3M worth of donations to Airbnb.org and Flexport.org through GoFundMe.org in an effort to raise $30M dollars.”


Mila and Ashton explained in the caption of their post, “Through GoFundMe, this fundraiser will provide an immediate impact on refugee and humanitarian aid efforts. The fund will benefit Flexport.org and Airbnb.org , two organizations who are actively on the ground providing immediate help to those who need it most. Flexport.org is organizing shipments of relief supplies to refugee sites in Poland, Romania, Hungary, Slovakia and Moldova. Airbnb.org is providing free, short-term housing to refugees fleeing Ukraine. Standing with Ukraine means supporting Ukrainians.”
